FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?
The easiest way to place an order with us is to browse our current inventory and add your faves to the WishList. Don’t forget to add cards or candles or sweets that you want to send with your flowers.
When you are ready to order, call us at (469) 404-2425 and have your wishlist handy. We will answer questions, get delivery information, confirm the delivery date, and provide a delivery window (typically 2 hours).
We will either invoice you via text/email or take your credit card info over the phone.
If you are ordering outside of normal business hours (M-F 9am – 4pm), simply use our online checkout form. You should receive immediate confirmation of your order. If you don’t receive a confirmation from us via text or phone by 9:00 the following business day, be sure and touch base to ensure your order was received.
CAN I CUSTOMIZE MY ARRANGEMENT OR GIFT BOX?
Absolutely! We try to accommodate any variations and welcome suggestions and requests. Call us to discuss what you are looking for and we’ll do our best to make it happen.
DO YOU DELIVER ON WEEKENDS?
We do deliver on Saturday. Orders must be placed by noon on Friday. We do not deliver on Sunday.
HOW DOES DELIVERY WORK?
We will provide you with an estimated time of arrival. If you provide the text info for the gift recipient, we will send a text letting them know to expect flower delivery within that 2 hour delivery window. We strongly encourage someone to be at the delivery address during that time.
If no one is available to accept delivery when we arrive, we will make every attempt to make sure your arrangement is delivered to a real live person (such as a gate guard, friendly neighbor, etc.) Only one delivery attempt is made. We will let you or your gift recipient know about any delivery issues so that alternate arrangements can be made.
If after these best efforts are made, and there is no one available to receive the order, we will return the arrangement to the shop, and you and your recipient will be notified where pick up can be made. This is of course, not ideal, so it is always a good idea for you to let the recipient know that a delivery is on the way, or provide us with their phone number so we have as many contact numbers as possible to prevent missed deliveries.
DO YOU DELIVER OUTSIDE OF THE DELIVERY AREA MAP?
If the recipient lives in the San Antonio area, but outside of the local delivery area, call us to discuss (any) delivery fees. Sometimes we can deliver at no charge, depending on the location and courier availability, but most likely a service fee of $15 – $20 will be added to the order.
For areas outside of San Antonio, we will ship your order for a flat $25 fee.
NOTE: We ship to TEXAS only. Usual ground time within Texas is one day. If one day delivery is not guaranteed, we will call you to discuss options. There are some vases that we are not able to ship due to size and weight because shipping would be cost prohibitive.
Your flower delivery order may arrive in two boxes; one box for the flowers, and one box for the vase. Flower food and care instructions will be delivered with the flowers.
CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?
Once your order is placed, it can be cancelled, with the following limitations.
Outside of normal business hours, cancel up to 9:00 am next business day for a full refund.
During normal business hours, cancel within one hour after order is placed for a full refund.
During normal business hours, a $20 cancellation fee applies to your refund if order is cancelled after one hour.
Once flowers are in the van and text notifications sent that we are on our way, your order is non-refundable.
HOW CAN I KNOW WHAT MY FLORAL ARRANGEMENT WILL LOOK LIKE?
Good question! We use the Designer’s Choice method for flower arrangements. That means we source the freshest seasonal blooms, and design your floral arrangement around the colors of the vase.
For silverplate or crystal, or vases without distinct color, any flower color will work. In that case, we will want to know the occasion for gifting which often helps us choose the right flowers. For example, anniversaries often demand roses or a mix of roses and coordinating flowers; birthdays are often anything goes – from traditional to “wild”… and same goes for “just because” arrangements.
If you are looking for something specific, or have seen something you like, send a photo or link! That’s easier for us, too.
Mother Nature always has the last word when it comes to the exact flowers we will use for your order. Sometimes we just can’t find the flowers we are looking for, and sometimes the ones we do find at market aren’t ideal. We follow the Golden Rule when it comes to sourcing our flowers: we choose the flowers for your order that we would be happy to deliver to our loved ones.
